Why Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) Matters
Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) is an international industry standard sampling process for evaluating the quality of a finished glove. AQL measures quality by determining the highest number of defects accepted in a random selection of a glove product batch. The lower the AQL, the better the quality and less likelihood of defects.
Higher Standards
Watertight tests inspect gloves for barrier protection and any pin hole leaks. An AQL of 3.0 to 4.0 is used for industrial gloves, while exam-grade gloves are held to a higher standard of 2.5, per ASTM D6319 standards for medical grade gloves. Guardian gloves go above the minimum requirements and are tested to an AQL of 1.5.
With the stringent standards set in place for Guardian Gloves, you can ensure they are of the highest quality and provide the best protection!
